The nearest to Es Cana - think that's where you are staying based on other posts - is probably Cala Longa which you can get to on the boats from the harbour I think.

There's a place between Santa Eulalia and Atzaro called Can Mayans which does trekking and lessons. I've heard good things about them, haven't experienced them myself but I see them out a lot during the summer and the horses look well looked after. We went down and had a look at the stables in Cala Llonga last year and it looked pretty ropey, the horses were not in good condition and the equipment looked about fifty years old.
There are some photos here:
thankyou for your help , the can mayan looks good and not too far ,i think the horses look in good condition. i wonder if they speak english and if the hotel reception would be able to arrange it for us.
As far as I know they do speak English. I have a feeling that they might even be English owned.
that makes life easier ,thanx. i hope they do treks as the jumping on the photos is a bit beyond us. we would like to see some country side.
