no payment other than being plied with beer and other things to ensure you dance all night !! As the series evolved i realised the sub plot was to expose (mainly me) as a womanising love cheat. Sky sent a tv crew to my wife's company to film a bunch of flowers arriving. They had to cut a lot of footage cos it was shot in nightclubs and was too dark to use. Thats why they eventually used the essex boys can't pull voice - over. They were with us till about 5am, enough said. What they wanted was a shot of me kissing some lass so they could then cut to shot of flowers arriving & cue sun 'love-cheat' headlines.
We got away lucky. Wish we'd been paid royalties, that show has been on all round the world and re-shown dozens of times. lads still get pulled about it.

got 'spotted' on lunchtime walk back to digs along beach. When I invited director back to our appts to meet the lads she got straight on the phone to producer to say 'we've found just what we were looking for' !!

The thread relates to another where holidaymakers were raising their concerns about travelling to Ibiza where they thought that the streets would be full of drug crazed girls throwing up in the gutter with their shirts over their heads. I replied that Ibiza Uncovered had a part in turning off people who believe everything that they see on TV, you PM'd me to clarify who I was complaining about, blah, blah, blah and here we are with further comment. All pretty obvious really.

In the other thread that Casperslides mentions i said i would find out if my friend who appeared on the programme was paid for doing so.
Rather than have this reply lost among a much bigger thread i posted the reply as a new thread, showing that although he wasn't paid a fee SKY did in fact pay for the booze that got them drunk and laddish.
