it will take 5 hours by bus. You'll have to go to Marmaris Otogar first. Then buy a ticket at some bus company like Pamukkale. There are buses everyday but i dont know the time...

the otogar in Marmaris is a little out of town..but there is a regular service up to it..or a taxi .it takes about ten minutes or less.

in that case you will know its not behind Tansaş...its a little way out of town on the main road out.

ok thanks shirleyanne. I had seen a lot of mini buses behind Tansas going to kurtalan and mardin, when i was looking for the shoemenders!!! and i thought this is where the otogar was

hmmm.. how can i explain...the easiest way to get to otogar - is to find Pamukkale ticket seller. If i am not mistaken its is just near by Tansas. Marmaris tansas, not Icmeler one! Dont mix. you come there, buy your ticket, and they tell you time of your bus service to Otogar. Then this small service bus picks up everybody from Tansas and you go to Otogar. That s it. Seems very easy, have a try
and do no mix Marmaris- Antalya bus time and Pamukkale service bus time!

otogar is between the marina and the hills...um...behind the marina. But there is no obvious access through the marina to it. By road you go to the town entrance/exit towards Mugla (not Icmeler or Datca), and turn right immediately at the exit, before climbing the mountains. Then it is less than a mile from there.
