Well we visited Icmeler for the 3rd time and stayed at the Club Daystar in May 2007 for a week. So here is the review:
The Apartments themselves are quite basic but very clean and they do have hairdryers in the bathrooms! The apartment we were in was on the ground floor and was large enough for two of us for a week. All the usual ammenities are available in the rooms (small kitchen with utensils. etc, two sofas, table with 3 chairs...). All apartments overlook the pool which is large enough with one side getting the sun all day and the other slowly going into the shade as it gets later in the afternoon. There are ample sunbeds for everyone. The pool area is always clean, and the rooms were cleaned daily.
Teddy, Ozzie and the guys in the restaurant always made us feel welcome, and never caused us any hassle trying to make us stay there to eat unlike reports I had read before. We stayed for a meal on one night because it was raining and I have to say that it was lovely! Just as good as I have had elsewhere! We also had all our snacks, etc at the Daystar and I must reccomend the Pancakes! An absolutely delicious snack accompanied with an Apple Tea!
We visited quite a few of the restaurants within the town...Titanic, Love Boat, Chef, Ozzys and as always the food was exquisite. We had possibly our nicest meal in Ozzys although Chef were up to their usual high standard of meals and Loveboat was a first for us on our 4th anniversary on 31st May.
We had a few nights in Friends and Wonderboys but tend just to walk around the shops at night!
I've got to say that my week at the Daystar was my best turkish holiday yet after staying at the Sahin Palace and the Babadan Hotel(before its refurbishment).
I could only reccomend Club Daystar and would definitley go back!
What was the average prices there compared the last year and the year before?
Beer
Food
Clothes?
Thanks
Firstly welcome to the forums. Sounds like you had a great time and enjoyed your holiday. I tend to think lots of the apartments in the resorts are basic but as everyone says they are always spotless and the lack of 'extras' just doesn't seem to bother anyone. Will be in Marmaris in two weeks but always like to visit Icmeler and the Love Boat in particular.

As for prices...I dont drink so have no idea how much the beers were! Food was pretty much the same prices as previous years of visiting...but I just hand the money over, its always a great meal wherever you go! Yet to have a bad meal in 3 visits to Icmeler!
Clothes...possibly slightly more expensive for the decent fakes to be honest. Obviously you still get your 4 or 5 t-shirts for £10 but they didnt seem very good quality at all! In saying that I reckon if you go at the end of the season you will get some proper bargains because the resort seems to be very quiet.
Thanks for the welcome Wilson! Very true about the basic apartments but I dont go on holiday to sit in my apartment and admire the wallpaper! It gets used to sleep, shower, toilet and get changed in...so long as its clean and not too warm I'm happy! I'm easy pleased that way!
If you are visiting Icmeler I can only advise visiting Chef next door to the Loveboat...great service and great meals as can be seen by how busy it is every night!
