Are you not thinking of walking from Icmeler towards Turunc? That's a dead end by the sea front. Icmeler to Marmaris is a fair walk in that heat so if you do decide to do it, go just after breakfast or in the evening. It's a good 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace and where you want to end up.

You don't walk along the beach itself. Theres a promenade that goes all the way from Icmeler to Marmaris and we did it last year. We cheated a bit by hiring bikes but its a good way to spend a morning or afternoon with plenty of nice places to stop off on the way. Even a bit of ice skating if you're feeling adventurous!

This is a lovely walk and depending on your pace and how far into Marmaris you go takes about 2 hours. The walk is on mainly flat footpaths and is under shade for a lot of the way. AS you walk down to Icmeler beach basically turn left walk passed the Marti hotel and keep going. We normally walk there have lunch, shop then get the water taxi back

The distance between Icmeler to Marmaris is about 8 kilometers, so you may walk for sure with a break in the middle, and it would take about 2 hours
