I'm due to fly out to Turkey a week today with a friend. Staying for one week in Icmeler at Mitos apartments. My friend not feeling very great (bad cold and chest infection) and is now thinking she may not want to go. I'm considering going on my own since otherwise I will lose my money (and my holiday which I've been looking forward to). Anyway - not having gone on holiday on my own before I'm wondering whether or not to go for it if she decides not to go I'm not too worried about the safety aspect (hope I'm not being naive) but have been to Marmaris quite a few times and know the place pretty well. My main concern is doing things on my own I suppose. Has anyone done Icmeler/Marmaris on their own before? or know anyone who has?
Guess I'm just looking for a bit reassurance that if I go it alone I'll be OK
