However, I'm graduating this year, then I'm going on to be a student teacher, so both money and work/study will be obsticals next year
For me it would be Turkey or Sharm as I have been to all the places in the world I wanted to visit.
would go to st. davids then on to tenby, pendine , amroth, fish n chips in st.clears, and a nice cold beer in the 3's.
and i would be in heaven!
The Galapagos islands, that would be my dream destination.
hopefully get there in the next few years.
If money was no object - I would probably spend more time at home! At the moment I get four weeks holiday a year from work and spend all four abroad on holiday. If money was no object then I wouldn't have to work so I would still spend time abroad but the majority of the year I would spend in good old England!
Mexico and the maldives are two destinations on my "dream list" would also like to do more of the USA - only been to new york and florida - would like to do the grand canyon, las vegas, niagara falls etc
Or i would probably visit more of the same (canary islands and cyprus) but staying in the best hotels in the nicest possible rooms!!
At the moment i would still just go to europe as we have kids aged 11 and 8 and long haul wouldnt be so good. And all they want is a pool and to make some friends,if they are happy we can relax lol.I would just take more holidays!!
China - for a trip up the Yangtze
Istanbul - on the Orient Express then staying at La Perla
St. Petersburg - to visit the Winter Palace
Etc. etc. etc......... think I am just a born romantic!
Patka I'm with you on the Galapogos isles, on a small boat, sailing around.
Oooh yes, Orient Express. Not bothered where, one of their really long 3 month trips I think.
SandC - would you want to do the whole dressing in period costume thing? I would! Can just see myself in twenties garb - pity I don't have the sylph-like figure that most of them seem to require!
Jay trip - How lucky you are to have been everywhere you want to go - not many people get to do that.
eifion - On a beautiful summer's day nothing would be better, but it would be a bit of a wash out with the weather we're having at present.
Yes, Helen, that's me - big hat for weddings, christenings and funerals and shirt, tie and black shoes for men! Knowing my luck though, I would be the one making the sandwiches, not eating them Still, it is nice to dream isn't it?
For me it would it would be a prolonged trip to the Far East taking in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Burma(under a different regime), Thailand, Malaysia the Phillipines and Indonesia. after that trip I think I would be ready to come home.
Oh yes prawn, I'd love to do all that. Perhaps a corset and bustle would stop me from overeating anyway.
A few months sailing around the Greek Islands, that would be bliss!
Or alternatively on a holiday to shoot any human whose 'idea of fun' is to shoot such wonderful creatures.
Doe
Grand Canyon Tour then a few weeks in Barbados oh and a World tour would do me. Just not a very good traveller and get very sea sick. Karen
