Have read lots of good reviews on above hotel/apartments. However they all seem to be about the apts, for about another £100 we can go half-board for 2 weeks!
Would like to know about the size of the rooms in the hotel tho, two adults, one six year old.
Anyone help pls?

Booked at Going Places,think its Aspro(Airtours).
Seems a tidy place, lots of returning customers tells its own story,we booked the half board deal BTW,going next June.

Just back from travel agents, Going Places quoted me £1631.00, if I go Direct Holidays it's £1178.00!
Massive difference of £453.00. Dates are 29th June for 14 days half-board - 2 adults, one six year old.
One b/room apt self-catering is £1278.00, so we are getting h/board for £100.00 less. While I like the extra space an apt gives, think in this case it's gonna be h/board!
Still trying to figure out which are the half-board rooms from their site tho

Think the Main Hotel(original) building is set aside for H/B clients,had an e-mail saying that all the property had received a massive refurb last year.

Having a fussy little grandaughter, I wondered if the meals were 'buffet' style.

To be honest I did a little homework and the genaral feeling was that the H/B option was ok but nothing to write home about. However most said the food was adequate and again most guests were happy but apparently some went out for a few night to try the local food in a the delightful tavernas scattered around Tingaki itself...hell why not,thats what being holidays are all about eh,the Ilious does however by all accounts do a very good Barbeque,and the reports seem favourable from 99% of guests of the genaral standard,they even have theme nights with a resident geordie band to get people dancing !
Were going with an open mind,if the beds are clean and beers cold,then thats all we ask for....Kos seems just the place to unwind.

Got 3 weeks in Cyprus coming up on the 28th September to keep us going tho. We both are Cyprus mad, but it's Limassol we go to and not much good for a 6 year old.
Definately will say hello, and just maybe have a few 'swalley's' together

Anyone going to the Illios Apartments around 8th June?
Can anyone who has stayed there recommend a particular block? Better upstairs or downstairs?
We like to sit on the balcony around 6/8 with a little refreshment (or two) but the balconys on their website all seem to be very heavily shaded. Any advice?

we stayed at the Ilios about 4 or 5 years ago. It was a great complex and we had a lovely holiday. There were two pools, but we tended to spend our days at the livelier one, where there was music playing throughout the day. I'm sure you'll love the place if it hasn't changed too much.

Not sure Jinty, as I say it was some time ago that we stayed there. We were self catering but if I'm not mistaken there was a choice of bed and breakfast (or could have been half board) as well. The s/c studios and appts were situated separately from the main part of the hotel and I remember speaking to a few who were in the main building. Their rooms sounded nicer than ours. Not that there was anything wrong with ours. It was nice and clean but basic. The main room had bunk beds (which our 15yr old slept in) and a television on the wall, leading onto a small kitchen. We had one separate bedroom with ample balcony looking onto the well kept gardens. We were on the ground floor. Things could well have changed by now. Have a great time.
The photos on the link you've provided Mustavaholiday bring back memories of our stay there. It looks almost identical to how it was a few years ago but I think it's been spruced up slightly.
