Moved to Costa Brava forum where it may get a better response.
If you only have an evening and a morning then the Ramblas is a must. Half way down as you walk towards the seas take a left and visit the gothic cathedral. There is also a market on the right hand side. Pleanty of places to eat alond there but pricey. Once at the bottom there is a huge aquarium on the harvour and other attractions in a large complex.
I would suggest taking the hop on/hop off Bus Tursita which does 3 routes through the city and covers all the main attractions. It probably costs about €19 now.
