Hi, me and my sister returned from the dilemma holiday last monday and had a wonderful time.
Just thought that I'd give a courtesy update as to what finally happened. Over the last few weeks before we went away I was on the phone numerous times to the Post Office virtually stamping my feet at the sheer frustration that they were unwilling to provide me with documentation that I was fully covered, which to be honest I found quite astounding, especially as the team leader agreed with me that I should have something and if she had been in my position she would have felt the same!!!
Looking back now, I can laugh at the lengths I went to to make them prove that I was covered, just because they wouldn't give me any written documentation.
Whenever I spoke to anyone I documented who I spoke to and the date and time of the phone call. When speaking to the team leader, she assured me that all my calls and details of my calls were recorded so I asked her to give me some examples to see if they tallied with my dates and info.......and they did!
As an added extra, I went to see my GP a couple of days before I was due to fly to check that I had her approval.
So, like I said, we had a lovely relaxing time, infact, I think I came home from this holiday feeling the healthiest I ever have!!!
Thanks again for all the advice, now I just have to sort out my insurance for next year......
