We fly tomorrow with Thomas Cook and useally take our headphones with the adaptor that plugs in the arm of the seat to listen to the music or the in-flight movie if it is any good, however someone told me to-day that Thomas Cook have stooped this service. Do any HT members know if this so
Alan
Yes, they stopped it on Short-Haul from 1st May 2010.
Thanks for the reply, will now ditch the headphones etc. and pack a book in my hand luggage, seems a pity as four and a quarter hours on an areoplane with limited leg room etc. bores me at the best of times.
Hi Alan, I was disappointed to hear that they've done away with IFE as well. I've invested in an MP3 player instead so will be able to at least listen to some music
Wait until the summer holidays when there are lots of bored children travelling.
THOMAS COOK AIRLINES - FLYTHOMASCOOK .. Q&As topic on the flights forum for aircraft information. Information is also available on my signature below. Thomas Cook removed IFE from their narrow bodied aircraft (Airbus A320/1, Boeing 757-200/300) commencing 1st May 2010. It's still available on wide bodied aircraft (Boeing 767-300 and Airbus A330-200). I'll lock this topic to avoid duplication.
