not the best topic and not really a big complaint but more of a niggle,
just flew with THomas Cook, and as the flight was early i chose meals on the plane,, breakfast ect,,,, as one of my kids is now 12 he qualified for an adult meal and had to pay adult price, when we got the meals,,,,( in a cardboard box not a kitted out tray as ive had in other travel firms,,,,, we all had identical meals,,, little son didnt get anything different than us, why couldnt we all pay child price!!
on previous hols the kids meals have been slightly different as in munch bunch yoghyrt and choccys and a mini pack of cards,,,, these were not the same value at all, tea was in a paper cup and they asked the kids if they wasted tea or coffee with their meals, come on,... pleeeeeese

Hi Hilda .. as you are not actually requiring any advice or assistance with a specific complaint, you may be best posting in the Or for discussion about airline catering in general, we also have the In-Flight Meals thread in the same forum.

Could it be that they ran out of special kids' meals and so they gave him an adult meal at no extra charge? If that is the case I don't really see that you have any claim. Whether kids or adults, I personally think that any meal on a plane is bad value for money and never bother with them if I have to pay extra for them.
