Just back from Menorca and we visited Cala n Bosch for as long as it took to drive round - didn''t appeal at all, but there was a sign for an Indian. This is one of the reasons it didn't appeal, along with the Britannia Pub and a plethora of Engerland flags hung from balconies.

Thanks for that Daveyip, sorry to hear you didnt like the place, but we love it. I know where you're coming from though with the Britannia it seems to be taking over the marina. We try to avoid the "British" pubs. Anyone else who can enlighten us over the Indian restaurant, feel free to do so.

We went last august and didn't notice an indian restaurant. Regarding the Britannia pub/restaurant all we saw where families dining but never saw an England flag displayed while we were there during the main 2 weeks. We spent a couple of great nights in the Britannia with our families and enjoyed the hospitality of the staff. It was a great and friendly atmosphere, so we are surprised to read your comments.

We have actually eaten in the Britannia and found it nice but when we call in for a drink we tend to sit inside in the bar .I hope you didnt misunderstand my comments on the "British" bit because we love Cala en Bosch and its our 8th year there. We fly out on Friday and judging by this atrocious weather here we cant wait.

Not at all, just surprised to read daveyip's feedback on Cala 'n Bosch. It sounded more like magaluf than a quiet resort in Menorca.

Hope you find an Indian restaurant close by, if you do please let me know

Hope you had a nice holiday, where was the Indian restaurant located. Was the weather kind for you, we go to Punta Prima in 4 weeks time :D

Hi Jonah126, the weather was a bit weird this year. Very breezy which was very nice. The first week was brilliant with no clouds at all. The second week was strange. There were, what looked like rain clouds on a morning until around 12 noon and then they would all move back away from the sun and sit there all day. The sun was still glorious all the second week. It was, however chilly on a night time but when you go in 4 weeks time, dont worry about it at all. It will be red hot, as it was for us too. The Indian restaurant was situated, if you stand on the bridge at Cala en Bosch and look towards the marina, it was to your left hand side, next to Leli's bar. We had an brill time and are going back in September.
