Barcelona has a lot of interesting places: Sagrada Familia, Tibidabo, Parc Guell, The Cathedral, "Las Ramblas", Maremagnum, The Gothic Barri, Mont Juic, The Pedrera, etc.. The tourist bus (you can take it in front of "Corte Ingles" of Plaza Catalunya) takes you to all these places. But here's a tip: there's a hostel (Gothic Point Hostel) which offers the same route to its guests at much lower prices, the difference is that you travel in subway and not in a tourist bus. I believe it's a good offer and you can save money, especially if you travel as backpackers (save money as much as we can).

I just came back from Spain.. we visited Barcelona and stayed at this hostel: Gothic Point. The place is fine, ...it is big, clean and cheap. The location is great, you can walk to the main places like the Cathedral, Las Ramblas, Picasso Museum, Plaza Catalonia, Colon, to the sea... We actually didn't take any bus or the subway (we just stay for 1 day and a half)...

I went to Sea Point in June of last year. The weather was great (not too hot and not to cold). This hostel was perfect.. had breakfast in the restaurant down stairs (which was included in the price). Spent a lot of time in the beach, nice environment, the hostel was clean, separated showers, economic"¦ it's nice"¦ If you are going there, you can go walking to "La Champanyeria".. which is a bar quite popular, always full but it worth it. It is well known by the economic food and its great champagne. Go there,, you won't regret it.

The facilities here are fantastic. They are new, clean, and everything works! It was great being so close to the beach (especially in the middle of summer) and you're only about ten minutes away from the center of town.
