I'm thinking of booking to come to Protaras on 4/5 of October for a week with hubby (his first time in Cyprus and he's a sun worshipper). I have read previous posts about the weather in October there seems to be quite a few reports of sunny weather in the mid 70's but also quite a bit of rain. looking on the web there seems to be conflicting reports. Obviously nobody could tell me exactly what i could expect, but could anyone give me an idea judging maybe from last year. I'm unsure of what to pack. last year I went in 16th Sept for a week with my mum and it was gorgeous 30s everyday.
I stayed at Tsokkos gardens apts on self catering. the restaurants nearby served the most gorgeous food. However it was a little pricey I would definitely recommend eating out at least some of the time. If anybody wants any info on Tsokkos gardens ask away. Just one more thing, sorry, does anyone know what hotel is situated at the end of the Tsokkos gardens apts drive? I remember it beginning with a P but as theres a few in that area I cant work it out! the reason i want to know is that I dont fancy booking there. It seemed very noisy!! maybe it was just that noise travels more at night but it sounded very butlinsy type. (no offense to anyone who likes that kind of thing) I just prefer something a little more peaceful.
