I'm going away with my girlfriend all inclusive, So do want entertainment in evenings, and the food served in hotel to be palletable. Have read elsewhere complaints about food, But maybe they are being over fussy?

:cheers
Stayed 4 times at the Dorada and once at the Imperial, going back to the Dorada with all the family to celebrate the wife's 50th for 9 nights in mid September and am really looking forward to it ,last there in 2006. Staff are brilliant ,food is good in my opinion and I am quite fussy (according to the missus). We go all inclusive which is well worth it but still have a wander out at night for a few beers and a change of scenery. Entertainment in hotel is the usual acts doing the rounds some good ,some not so good and some rubbish to be honest.
Resort is relatively small and quiet but has a beautiful beach and is a great place to chill out, most bars etc are shut by 1 am-ish, there are a few that stay open later, Cairo's behind the Dorada is a popular bar opening late.
Depends what you want from your holiday really, if you want to chill out and enjoy the sun etc then Cala Llonga is ideal. Buses run to Ibiza Town quite frequently during the day but at night you will need a taxi. Frequent buses to Santa Eulalia and Es Cana ,slightly bigger resorts.
Hope you enjoy it, a lot of visitors return year after year which says a lot for the resort.

just to state you need to get to Santa Eulalia from there you can get to Es Cana.bus 15 to ibiza and bus 41 to Santa Eulalia then 18 to Es Cana.either resorts are not far away.

like said buses are good in day but later at night they stop.so heres a list of them. click on for timetables

tip is always check the sign he puts in window of bus.sometimes the 15 pulls in and changes to the 41.

And you also have the 'water buses' that go both up and down the coast during the day so you can visit other beaches.
