Looking for information on st peters resort and cavo blanco apartments any information will be gladly appreciated as we are looking to book this year and would be first time to corfu
Thanks
My family and I have just booked to go to cavo bianco in september. It looks lovely and right on the beach but we will definately be avoiding Kavos as it's more for the young clubbers...!
Kavos them was the days eh, thanks for responding its like the winter season on this particular forum, back to the indian forum.
The complex as a whole is kept very clean. The apartments, bars, pool, grounds are all spotless. The staff are all really friendly from the reps, to the bar staff, the entertainers, english receptionists right through to the management. They all make you feel very welcome. On-site there is a shop, free safety deposit boxes, a restaurant, big screen TV for the football etc. 3 bars, childrens play area, tennis courts, pool tables, dart board, and a fabulous entertainments team with day time activities and a nightly programme including cabaret shows by professional entertainers, greek night, BBQ, Karaoke etc.
It was an Airtours hotel last year but has now been taken over by Thompsons who I believe are installing Air Conditioning.
The resort of St. Peters is just around the corner. 2 minutes walk. No paths so be careful with the kiddies. It houses loads of restaurants, bars and a few supermarket and more hotels (none of which are above a 3*)
It's generally quiet with most of the "noise makers" stopping in Kavos.
It may not be the best hotel in the world but compared to what you could have booked in this area, you won't be disappointed.
Hope you have a great time
Thanks corfuangel as i am quite looking forward to it now.
I don't know a lot about this resort, as apparently, its fairly new, but a few bars and resturants have been highly reccommended, apparently the local people are great too.
Lets hope it lives up to the recommendations!!!!!
Hi Welsh girl and others from another welsh girl. I stayed in Cavo Bianco with my boyfriend last Sept. It was lovely. The apartments were quite basic but very clean. Food in the hotel was very nice, we didn't bother venturing out to St Peters too often as were quite happy with food, vino and entertainment there! Pool is lush but rather cold. Right on beach which is quite clean and nice clear water. not doing a sales pitch but went on two boat trips, one to Corfu town in eve and other to Paxos and mainland Greece - very nice indeed, but did get a bit chilly in eve so take something to cover arms! Only warning is watch out for the Wasps! Got stung - not nice, they are everywhere, especially around snack bar by pool. enjoy[/b]
