We stayed in one in 2003 for a family wedding and it was great.

Havent stayed in one but have eaten in one, the hospitality and food was excellent.

Always enjoyed the Carvery in the Stockport one when I used to live up there, but have never seen the accommodation. I would think it would be fine.

We stayed at one in Edinburgh a few years back. Room was small and hot and the shower tray leaked all over the bathroom. Good for the price though and the breakfast was worth paying for. Wouldn't object to staying in one again.

We stayed in the one at Stoke-on-Trent last year when going go Alton Towers. The rooms are like a typical travelodge but they do have a few sky channels on the tv and they are good value as they have continental breakfast included - the usual croissants, toast, fresh fruits, yoghurts etc but a good start to the day.

Bulls Head in Meriden (Coventry/NEC) is nice - character rooms - ours had a downstairs bathroom!! food good too!!

I highly reccommend Innkeeprs Lodges particularly the weekend deals of three nights for the price of two the free night being Sunday. The price includes free breakfast ok not a full english but plenty of coffee, toast, cereals etc.
We have stayed at Boreham Wood for London on two occassions and Leeds South once both excellent value for money. Our son and his family stayed at Kieghley and were delighted with the quality and cost ,All these venues had Toby Carvery restuarants you can not get better.

Can't wait to go again.

Use them regularly, very good value and always clean and well presented.

Rooms have TV and Tea and Coffee making facilities with some biscuits.
Nice powerful showers with Dove shower cream supplied, if you have forgotten toileteries they will give you free basic ones to get you by.

Breakfast which is provided in the cost is made up of items such as toast, cereal, fruit, bagels, croissants, fruit juice, tea and coffee.

If you can get one of the 3 nights for the price of 2 this is exceptional value.

We have stayed in the one near Exeter several times and it was fine. In a nice old pub. Only complaint was they have never had marmalade for breakfast, only jams, which is odd in England! Taking 'continental breakfast' a bit far.....

Just stayed in the Bull's Head, Meriden. Well recommended. Good food and very pleasant dining area, and the bedrooms are all different. It has a really nice outdoor area with plenty of seating, and there's lots of parking. The place certainly has character - it's a 17th century coaching inn. In fact, so much character (beams, with warning signs) that I have a few bumps on my head to prove it!

The shower was good and powerful, and the Dove shower cream/handwash is what it says it is (unlike some places I've been).

The only downside for some may be that it's not a full English breakfast (however, as someone else noted, there's a good selection).

well we're just back from our holiday and stayed at InnKeepers lodges in York, Keighley, Nottingham and Perth and can't give anything but praise for these hotels ample continental breakfasts with a good choice helpful staff, sky channels in rooms telephones hairdryers etc provided unlike travel lodges good pub/restaurants attatched especially the sizzling pub beside the black bull in york.

All in all great value for money especially in you get an early saver for £29.95 or a 3 for 2 weekend break.
