I think they will need to hire a car....stopped on I drive before but never when theres been a shuttle launch so im not sure if theres transfers or not....but my best guess is there is none so they will have to hire a car i reckon....Dont forget as well many delays with the shuttle lauching,dont always get off on the day stated....

Thanks for that, I know launchs get postponed but fingers crossed. Dollar have quoted £38.40 for a three day hire just waiting for an email from them to let us know what excess they would have to pay being under 25.

Haven't been to a launch for a few years but found that taking the SR 50 was usually the better way of reaching Kennedy Space Center. The BeeLine Expressway was backed up to Orlando last time I attempted to use it on a launch day. I managed to escape from it and found the SR 50 clear all the way to Titusville where we sat and watched the launch. As I said, this was a few years ago and things may well have changed.

Thanks for that tip, they have decided to hire a car for a couple of days. Alamo worked out the cheapest for under 25s, they also had a 10% discount voucher in the Brits Guide to Orlando. So far the launch is going ahead on Friday.
