Don't know about the internet cafe but we stayed in Protaras at the same time last year and it was absolutely boiling.(mind you we did the trip to the desert to see the pyramids - then we knew what boiling meant) We were fortunate enough to have a slight breeze. The good thing about the weather in CYprus is that it is a dry heat so you are not continuously perspiring. The Cavo Maris hotel looked lovely.

A lot of bars in the Protaras area have internet through a pubnet system. Last year it was 50c for 10 mins.
I did find it a bit slow though.

MAX broadband in CY in 1 gig, but normally you do not get anywhere near this speed, you lot are spoilt. mine zoomes along at 400kbps..

OOh Gem, are you really going to go on the Internet while youre on Cyprus? ......... I dont think I would dare...... Im bad enough with It when Im over here!

We are also going away In July...... 19th to the 2nd August.

It may be sad but I check the internet daily when i'm away.

Only about 10 mins a day but still do it.

whilst away........ hubby wouldnt be too chuffed

......... mind you, I suppose I could always sneak away telling him Im off shopping, then have a chat to you all........ he hates shopping.........
