Thanks very much BBB and thank your parents too.The hotel sounds great and just what we want. I'm glad they have a kettle it saves weight in the cases.Your parents said all the rooms are disbled friendly, so does this mean they all have walkin showers ? This is the thing I mostly need as I can walk, but I'm a bit unsteady on my feet.
Thanks again
Serena
Unfortunately they did not have walk in showers (but you could email and ask if they have any rooms with one). They had a bath, with an overhead shower, and a small bit to sit on, the bottom of the bath was slip free (like sandpaper). My dad is not that steady on his feet, and he said he managed ok.
Hope this helps a bit serena, but I would email them, as they may have rooms with walk in showers.

Thanks again BBB I'm afraid they dont answer their emails , I emailed them a couple of weeks ago and as yet, heard nothing.I might manage with the bath as long as it's not too slippery and not too high to get into. I dont know why your father is unsteady on his feet, but in my case it's rheumatoid arthritis and it makes all joints very inflexable.
The bath is not too slippery at all, my dad said it was like a sandpaper effect at the bottom, (Where you cant slip about) - he's unsteady on his feet (or should I say foot :-), after having a leg amputated, (Which he has to take off before a bath)!.
Have a lovely time.
Belly!
