Hardly, it is the most famous of the Cyclades, 90% of young people only go to Ios in the Cyclades, to drink and fall down ignoring all the other islands. The frequent ferries really empty out there. There is tons of info available just use a search engine put 'Ios far out' or 'Ios drink' in the box.... June is not a very busy month. Most of the places of 'cultural interest' are on the Mylopotas road, in the Chora or at the top of the path to the port.

Its a great place with a superb beach (mylopotas), just like brown sugar. They have great watersports down there and very cheap backpackeresque accommodation. The nightlife is top drawer and the food relatively cheap. June will be quiet in comparison to August when its full of Italians. There are loads of ferrys out of there if you wanted a day off but enjoy it, its a place thats full of irish and aussies, apart from that its great!

In case you're not a party animal, I just want to reassure you that there's lots of great restaurants in Ios. And June is probably a good time to go.The small town is lovely and you can get away from it all. Just use the local buses.
