Hey,
New here, although I say that... I was here a while ago trying to sort a holiday to Morocco for my mum :s
Anyway, looking for some suggestions if possible? Me and my best friend are looking to spend 3 nights in Ireland, just a bit of a get away really, nothing over the top, no reason for going apart from we just want to go! We're trying to find a nice spa hotel that offers treatments, we're hoping to depart on the 25th of September (Thurs) and return on the 28th Sept (Sun), flying from newquay or exeter. I've been looking around and I can see that I'm going to be paying about £200-£250pp for the hotel and the flights. We had been considering Dublin or Belfast so any recommendations? We were also wondering whether there would be any other nice spa hotels in a different city you might recommend? Like I said we're looking to spend about £500 between us, (not including spending money etc). Also another thing! We would like to be quite near the hustle and bustle, neither of us will be driving so any access will be by foot, or public transport however we really would like to be close enough to town/city centres to be able to walk.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi xxtamxx ... in addition to Dublin and Belfast which you have mentioned, you may want to extend the search to places such as Cork. There are flights from Newquay to Cork, which may well be more expensive than the Dublin and Belfast flights. But that then opens up the possibility of hotels in Cork city, Killarney and numerous other towns in counties Cork and Kerry where accommodation may be cheaper than in the bigger cities.
Thanks for the speedy reply!
Hi, Airsouthwest also operate Plymouth to Dublin and you don't pay extra for your baggage.Have a look on Xcape with us.com we had a good price for a Dublin hotel from them. Also take a look on the Ireland Forum on Tripadvisor. Maggie
http://www.killarneyplaza.com or Oriel House Hotel in Ballincollig, Co. Cork (4 miles from Cork City) - http://www.orielhousehotel.ie (this is also a 10 minute drive from the airport).
Both are gorgeous hotels with fabulous spas!
I would recommend the Killarney Plaza (in Killarney, Co. Kerry - 60 miles from Cork City) - Both are gorgeous hotels with fabulous spas!
