Is it still the Caribbean Village one in Agadir?

yes looks good and theres a thread running about it, do you know anything about it compared to egypt

Not really. Ive just looked at it a few times, because some of the tour ops give it kids prices up to age 14, plus it's got 4 bedded rooms. My kids are 12 & 14. It always seems to have good prices.

I did think in Sharm that all the hotels looked luxurious, in terms of what you are paying for. But for us it was a place we would only go to for a week. There seemed little to do outside of the hotels apart from the snorkelling/diving, and popping into Namma Bay (you get hassle!).

The trips seemed expensive even if you didnt use your tour op.

Karen . i would agree 100% with what doepsmc is saying. The red sea is lovely, the people very friendly and we will be going back next year and i think that shows we loved it there. but are having it as a second holiday as opposed to our main one which we did this year. its difficult to explain, unless you are staying in Naarm bay and have all the action around you it will be a very different holiday to turkey. The hotel will have everything you could possibly need and it will be very relaxing. but ive actually come back and dont really feel that ive been on holiday yet  maybe its because we went early, maybe it was the shorter day that you got at easter, we felt a bit cheated by that  .

but presumably you will be having it as a second holiday and will still go back to turkey again later next year.

I dread to think what we sound like to people that would love 1 holiday a year never mind the amount that we all seem to be very fortunate to have. :D my hubby is lso self employed Karen so yes no work, no money but on the other hand its makes to easy to just go as you only have yourself to answer to and justify the money of course. At the end of the day i think we all agree lifes to short. If you can manage to do it without getting yourself in too much debt then go for it. you know yourself how fast your children grow up and Abandon you for holidays with their mates,girlsfriends/boyfriends. Im really not looking forward to that at all so im just trying to cram in as many as poss.

the funny thing is LOL my children keep telling me not to book so much. they would like to spend their school holidays with their friends :x .

Dont worry Lynwestie teenagers are not that silly. All the time you are willing to pay for them to have nice holidays with you they will come

My two are 17 and 13, we have two weeks in Zante in august and two weeks at a Universal Resort Hotel in Flordia in oct, to do the Fright Nights etc.

Just booked Xandu in belek turkey for two weeks august 07, asked my daughter as she would be 18 would she be comming with us. She took one look at there web site and said yes.

Perhaps if we did a caravan at bogner she may not bother comming

But i agree that you dont know whats around the corner so live life to the full.
