As long as your boys dont need nightclubs why dont you try Cala N Bosch in Menorca. There are two beaches (one larger than the other), a lovely harbour/marina where there are plenty of boat trips and enough restaurants for somewhere new to eat almost every night of a two week stay. A scattering of shops and supermarkets and a direct bus link to Cuitadella (if not hiring a car).

There are plenty of villas to chose from (having just ordered a James Villas brochure). I would say that it has almost everything you might need and would recommend it.

I tend to think of Menorca as more of a couples, or young family holiday destination. Not really one for teenagers. As long as your boys are not into loud yee har type things and just want to relax and chill then it should be fine.

I'd recommend hiring a car however to get around the Island as the resorts tend to be fairly small.

They are definately not into nightclubs or the like .This year the older one spent his time divided between bed/eat/watch tv/ read/dip in pool/eat/watch tv/swim/eat/watch tv/get ready to eat/eat/bed with an mp3 player connected to him for a fair bit of the time .
He really wasn't bothered about being on holiday and would probably happily stay at home next year sleeping eating watching tv and playing on the computer but I can't leave the younger one with him so he'll probably come along as he likes paella !
Thanks for the advice and I'll certainly look about at the villas , I'd love something with it's own pool.

Have a look at Menorcanmagic http://www.menorcanmagic.co.uk they have apartments in Playa de Fornells and a penthouse apartment in Ciutadella.We stayed at the penthouse apartment last year and this year and had a brilliant time.The complex is called Sa Calma and most of the apartments are owned by Menorcan residents or Spanish citizens.The pool is excellent and most days we had it to ourselves.The pictures on the website really do not do it justice.
