Hi Folks
My partner and I arrived in Alcudia (Hotel Maritimo) on Thursday of last week. When we go on holiday we are quite happy lying around the pool all day etc but in the evenings we generally like to go to places where there is a bit of life. We are far from teenageers but like somewhere that usually has a mixed age group and music etc( a bit of a boogie would be a bonus!) We are finding the resort not only quiet but almost dead. Can anyone suggest anywhere around here that might be worth a visit.......

At the Maritimo you're virtually out of Alcudia. Get a bus or cab up to the Bellevue area, about 2 kilometres. There are many bars there and you can also check out clubs. Though Bells Disco caters more for a younger group, there does tend to be a mixed crowd there. Next door to Bells is a place called Sabor Latino, a music bar, which can be quite good, and also in that street (Astoria) is Vamps disco-karaoke and Las Vegas show bar. Plenty of other places nearby if none of these grabs your fancy. You're staying almost in Playa de Muro and no it isn't that lively.
