the Issac apartments are situated in the Marlita beach area of Pernera.
Pernera has become a popular resort over the last few years, you are near the Anastatia hotel, and the Marlita beach hotel..
There are a few bars and restaurants in the immediate area. beaches , childrens play area in the Marlita beach hotel.
There is a very nice restaurant just down from the Issac just opened this summer called Ifallos already this is getting a good name with the residents who live in the area. Just round the back of the apartments you will find Bluespice , Fools and Horses. Spectrum bar, Western star ,, ( I think) its called that a Chinese, Steak house and many more
A short stroll up from you apartments you will find a whole lot of bars and resturants, in fact Pernera is well known for its resturants.
You are near Protaras water park which might be better for your boys given their ages, If not you can jump on the bus to Ayia Napa Waterworld.
You are just outside Protaras but I am sure you will enjoy the area, In Pernera there is a small Luna park.
2 crazy golf parks in Protaras one at the Pernera end and a bigger Luna park for the kids at the far end of the strip in Protaras..
You could also hire a car from Sue and Lisa at Orthodoxu but they are changing their name to Christina Travel next year, There office is just beside Herbies dive shop right next to the Issacs.
I am sure lots of members will be along shortly to give you lots of detials on the best places for to go with the kids

hi we stayed in issacs in august and there are fantastic. andreas the barman what a star. the rooms were spotless the pool was clean we had a great time.pernera itself i thought was to english same goes for protaras. we prefered limmassol as more culture down that end but you will really enjoy your stay at the issacs they are all so freindly (dont play andreas at pool hes a hustler)lol.
Just ask him how much I took off him last summer !! We were up til 4 in the morning with him trying to win it back
We go and say hello to him most times we are over in Cyprus.
Isaacs is very nice - quick tip - try and get room 309, its twice as big as the rest, but don't tell anyone
Hey Andreas, you watching
Ady
Also, what is there for the kids to do of a night time our little angels are 8 and 4.
Any information on this area would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

The location is great...... right near the sea, and little bays, and within walking distance of supermarkets, Bars and Restaurants.
The meals around this area, in the Restaurants, are usually very good!
You will enjoy it, im sure
many thanks Cookie 1 for your reply . can you shed any light on what there is to do for the children in the evening???
Many thanks pubdog - i have checked out the link you so kindly gave and it has put my mind at rest. Sounds great right near the beach - im sure the kids will love it and i will be able to tan to a crisp lol.
A lot of Bars, etc, around that area have Video games etc that your children can play on whilst you enjoy a drink
Protaras itself is fantastic for children........ Three CraZy Golf Parks, Bowling, not to mention the numerous "halls" where they can play Pool, Video Games etc.
Dont worry....... theres plenty around to keep them occupied
Make sure you visit the Spectrum Bar (near where you are staying).
There is a BritishBulldog who lives there called Piggy...... she is sooooo sweet.
thanks again Cookie 1 for all the tips. lets hope june comes round really fast!
If you head up to the main road going into Protaras there is a great wee playground area about halfway along. It has a small train ride, crazy golf, motorised cars etc which will keep them amused for a couple of hours. Also at the far end of Protaras there is a larger funfair and another crazy golf.Just up from the Isaac is the waterpark which is ideal for kids of yours' age. Many people will tell you not to bother as the one at Ayia Napa is one of the best in Europe but it is also very busy.
many thanks dav - ive noted your comments which are much appreciated. the sound of the fairground, play area and water park is a great idea for our kids. a smaller water park will prob be a better idea for our kids because they are quite young too.
Tip for Ayia Napa Waterpark: Try to go on a Wednesday or a Sunday as these are the two most common "delivery days" for new arrivals.
I wouldn't recommend the 'little waterpark' up the road from the Isaac though as I would say it has a lot of health and safety issues going on. That is why it is quiet. You would be much better to spend the few extra pounds on going to Waterworld - much more to do there for adults and childre with the reassurance that it is safe. Will cost you less than £1cyp on the bus each and you will be there in 25-30 mins.
Try Flintstones bar - you will see it on the main road just before you reach the main strip in Protaras. Also the 'Magic Dancing Waters' are worth a visit - next to McDonalds. Endless family entertainment in the bars in Pernera and Protaras centre. The Isaac doesn't have a kids club/disco that i'm aware of, but go along to the one at the Marlita Beach or if you head in the other direction, go along to the one at the Elamaris.
You and your family will have a fab time!!!
we stayed at these apartments in 2004 and thought they where great. very clean, modern rooms and close to a beautiful beach. there is a pool table and some arcade machines in the reception area for the kids (my little boy loved them) and a couple of times a week there was a karaoke night and a babarcue night which was great fun for the family. or else there are loads of bar/resturants nearby. hope you have a great time, we did!!
Hi - is anyone holidaying at he issac apartments in protaras 18th june onwards with kids???? i am travelling with my husband and two sons looking for a family stress free break. might be nice to have some company for the kids to play with (my brats are aged 8 and 4 lol).
We arrive at the Issaac apartments on the same day as yourselves. Four adults and two kids, girl aged 13 and boy aged 8, possibly be another couple with their 10 year old son but not sure till next week about them. Where are you flying from? We're flying from Birmingham.
See you by the pool!
