Can anyone tell us about Isla Canela. We are thinking of going to this resort, and would like to know if there are any bars and restaurants,and a harbour by the Hotels. We are unable to walk great distances, so this is important to us. We do not like to spend too much time in the Hotel. We like to visit local bars and restaurants. Lizziebeth.
Lizziebeth, Isla Canela is built on/near to protected wetlands and a coupld of kilometers from the town of Ayamonte. I assume you are considering staying down at the new Marina (Punta del Moral), if so there is a bus service that runs from the hotels into town regularly. However, at this end of Isla Canela there are a couple of hotels, the whole area is quite flat so Ok for a pleasant stroll out. There are a number of bars and restaurants, together with a small supermarket and ATM machine all within walking distance and you also have the added bonus of being able to stroll to Punta del Moral itself where again there are some good bars and retaurants.
