Looking through various brochures, Jandia seems to be more heavily promoted than ever before, with more hotels advertised than the other resorts. I was wondering if any regulars to this particular resort or Fuert in general have noticed this and if it's reflected in the nos of Brits you see there?
Every hotel that I read about looks and sounds superb, I have no issues with holidaying with Germans, Scandinavians etc other than I find it hard to communicate only being able to speak English and a bit of French.
Also am I right in thinking I might get slightly better weather there in March/April?
Seems better value for money than the two other main resorts as well.

It has always been predominantley German and you are more likely to hear German spoken than Spanish we have never had any problems with comunicating and English is understood in particular in the hotels catering for the English tour companies. The prescence of the Germans is usually an indicator of the higher standards of the hotels,
With regards to weather I dont have any stats but I would say the weather tends to be a bit better in the South.
There is some info and links to photos of the Island on my website below.

Thanks Nick you are always very helpful, there aren't many people on HT that know much about this area. Do I have to join something to view your site? Would like to look at the photos. I've been reading reports on the H10 Tindaya Hotel.
Thank you for your comments the stuff on my site is just available to view, but I have put most of the photos on the OFOTO site and I think that may ask you to register.
Thanks Nick. I will register with them.
