Thanks Dazbo & Stocktonmackem,I did arrange this when I booked, I ticked the assistance box but I also opted for online checkin so was wondering where I would get the slip of paper as I will just be dropping cases at the drop off point not checking in at airport.

Serena,

Even though you are only dropping bags off at the airport, this is just a shortened version of checking-in, you are effectively checking-in your bags. Everything will be dealt with at that point.

Hi a newby here, I have used Jet2 quite alot, be careful when viewing flights because the more you check them out the prices go up. We checked out a flight for Alicante on a saturday and when ready to book on the sunday the flight had gone up by £20. This has happened to other people we know. Also anyone flying from Leeds Bradford be aware of queing.... make sure you have given yourself plenty of time, the conveyor belt broke down twice and we almost missed our flight. Other than these few minor details Jet2 great plus 600 points mean you can have free flight to European airport. Hope this is helpful?? :)

This is common to many budget airlines, to avoid this you have to clear the cache memory on your computer after every visit or at least just before you go back to book it :tup

No idea, never done it. Sounds important - is it?

It's the "cookies" that kill you!
Yes - websites are getting really clever about recognising repeat visits.
One thing that might help, if you use Internet Explorer, (most of us do)
is to click on the top bar "Tools", then "Internet Options", then, under "Browsing History"
make sure you tick "cookies" and then choose "delete"

ukbill,

thanks for the feedback but I cant seem to just specify cookies to delete but it will delete saved passwords, cookies etc etc.

All that information is on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Chris - if you are at home you may have an old version of Explorer and have to delete more than just the cookies. I always delete everything on the list anyway! In fact mine's set to automatically delete the lot whenever I close Explorer. You can try updating, click the main Windows Start button and look for Windows Update. Butif you've never done that beofre it may take a while!

if you're at work you may find that your company IT people have done things - and not always for the best!

steve,

thanks for the reply. I will be changing my steam driven pc for a laptop today so I expect to then have more up-to-date software which will allow to be more granularl in what I can and cant do.

Thankfully I took early retirement some years ago so dont have now worry about those IT guys (I was one of them !) affecting how things work on my PC/Laptop.

Hi Darren

Flight LS917 MAN-TFS 26 Dec. Please can you tell me where this plane is coming in from, or will it be it's first flight of the day?
Thanks.

Sunaddict,

It comes in the previous evening and night-stops from what I can see, so the first flight out of the day for that aircraft.

Flying to Alicante from Glasgow on Saturday 2nd April (flight no. LS177)
I'm aware this is Jet2's first year at Glasgow and the info might not be available, but any idea if it will be a 737 or 757?
Thanks in advance ;)

jc1,

Welcome onboard :tup
I'm mobile at the moment so I can't check. I'll have a look when I get home in the morning. I should imagine it'll be a 737, but I'll confirm either way in the morning.

EDIT: The system is down at the moment so I can't check. They have a Boeing 757-200 and 737-300 based their from March. I suspect it'll be the 737-300.

Thanks Darren.....I was hoping it would be the 757 due to the Easter break / higher passenger numbers, wishful thinking eh?!?!
