Sorry I missed your post have had log problems, by now if you did come over to Paphos you will know of the weather conditions here, the forcasters were spot on (weatherunderground) and the storms are continuing, they are the worst storms I have ever witnessed with huge mud slides on Monday night (29th Oct) in the west of Paphos town, in fact they killed two locals in Kisonerga, they were swept off the road there car was crushed and only the young lady has been found dead, so far the driver her husband has not been found, tragic for the local family who ran a flower shop in Chlorakas..

Ok if you did make it here I hope you did find some dry moments during your stay..the bad weather looks like continuing for sometime yet.

we got back from Paphos last night and were actually there on the Monday of the storm you mentionned. It was fantastic to sit on the balcony and watch but how terrible for the people who were washed away in their car. A friend of ours who lives in Peyia was actually on the same road only a few mintutes earlier!

We had a couple of good days and managed to get to the beach with the kids so they were happy. We didn't mind the weather too much, and it gave us a good insight into what to expect when we relocate to Cyprus hopefully next year.

Hi Paula glad you had a reasonable time of things, I can honestly say I have never seen weather like that in October before, usually we get the odd thunderstorm but it never last that long, this time we had days of them with huge amounts of rain, we do need the rain here but a little less ferocious would be better, all is well at the moment sunny and clear, but a lot cooler than it usually is for November..
