We have just returned from our second holiday in La Carihuela and had a fantastic time...we loved it
Weather was hot , resort was busy without being mad and it was just beautiful.Walked numerous times to Central Torremolinos and Benalmadena but would not swap them for La Catihuela any day .
Dont get me wrong i love Benalmadena Marina but to me that is as easy accesible from La Carihuela as it is Benalmadena itself .
We were in a great spot near the Hotel Pez Espada and it was only a 10 min stroll from either the Marina or La carihuela village.
Some food recommendations
Best English food Bar El mohito or Winstons (had to have english a few times as mom and dad with us for part of holiday)
My favourite place to eat was Restuarant La Tahona ...loved it ..great service , good food , great location if you like to eat amongst hustle and bustle...and very good prices.
Great snacks and coctails in Da Fano at the side of Benalmadena Marina..half decent view..toasties for 1.5 euros without being in a brit bar.
Had a fab time ..will try and upload a few pics later ...cant wait to be back in sept
we've been twice at Easter time and are seriously considering going again next Easter- I love it so much. Must be something about the place as I never go to the same resort more than once
