i got back from a 2 week trip to sunny beach yesterday.

had a really good time. i stayed in the hotel Belleville, which is at the begining of the main road going into sunny beach, the hotel was lovely, the staff were really friendly and the food was ok. Aaron, the rep was really helpful as my friend had to leave a week early, so he helped us to change her flight and get everythihg sorted out without any hassle.

The weather was brilliant, i have a tan for the 1st time in my life! it only rained a few times but even then, it only lasted an hour at the most.

the price of things have increased apparently, compared to last year, but it was still really cheap.

just a little warning. try to use correct change or smaller notes in the bars at night... we got ripped off when we went to Mexo ( a cocktail bar on the beach ) our drinks came to 36 lev, and we gave him a 50 lev note, he didnt give us our change.... also, when in restaraunts, they dont tend to come back with change either so just be careful.

went into Nessebar a few times, its absolutely stunning there. we were going to get the sea taxi, but the water was a bit choppy so we chickened out and got the bus. was really good value at 1 lev each way.

if you like good coffee... i suggest you take your own with you as the coffee over there is a little bit too strong for me.
