We Returned from Benidorm last night, had a lovely time The Gemelos 22 I would recommend to anyone lovely apartments beautiful gardens and pool we were in tower 3 which is a little away from 1 & 2 the only good thing was we had watched these being built so had an idea where to go it would have been an idea to have a key to the gates at 1 & 2 so you could just walk thru to tower 3,anyway our flight touched down a little earlier than scheduled at Terminal 2 which was the first problem after a while we realised our transfer would probably be waiting at terminal 1 so had to find our way there after finding the transfer had to wait for all the other people that were lost in the terminal left after about 30/40 mins 45 min transfer which wasn't bad.

The bars around the town were surprisingly empty drank in a lot of places prices were always between 1 and 2 euro's for beer entertainment bars were 3 for a bottle of beer 3.5 for a pint didn't have any spirits in these,couple of places ripped us off one of them is Brannigans a karaoke bar across the road from the indoor market just in case there are 2 who charged us 8 euro's for 2 White rum and draught cokes when I pulled him up about it he tried to say that was the price around the resort even after I told him other bars were only charging 3 or 4 euro's for 2 he came back over to us a little later and gave us 2 euro's back and said the next time we come in he will give us a special price needless to say we did not go back, a number of bars we did like were the Rainbow the Wooky Hollow, Jail Rock and the Pheasant Plucker all good prices and good atmosphere we did try the Tower Lounge and sorry to say did not like it felt like we were sat in a corridor the room is about 12/14 foot wide by about 50/60feet long with about 100 seats felt so claustrophobic,the Yorkshire Pride we went past a lot but hardly a soul in there,weather was quite good during the day until Saturday night when we had torrential rain which lasted all day Sunday Monday was Sunny to start with then the rain started about 2.30pm which just got worse as soon as the sun went down our transfer was 5.40pm which then proceeded all around Benidorm and then into Cala Finestrat it was over 1.5 hours to the airport which was worse than the flight I worked out that the transfer companies in Benidorm are charging 3 times as much as over here now for a taxi transfer IF we go again we will be looking at other transfers would never go with ShuttleDirect again, we flew out at 9.30pm and it was still raining then,I would say to take warm clothing for the night time if anyone needs any other info will be glad to try and help.
