Hi there hoopie. We are going to San Antonio Bay in a couple of weeks. When we first decided to book Ibizia, Playa den Bossa was our choice of resort but because there's 10 of us (with a couple of 18 year olds in tow) we thought San Antonio Bay might be better. Having second thoughts now . BTW where did you stay?
Hi there we stayed at the Hotel Riviera appartments in some ways we were unlucky because our appartments were right at the front above the BN3 club, however there was still a bit of noise at 5.00am with young ones coming back from the clubs. Dont let me put you off my kids had a ball and did not want to come home, just go and see for yourself. If you are staying in the Fiesta Milord you will have no worries it is excellent and still very family orientated.
Hi. Yes, we are staying at the Fiesta Milord and the reviews are good. Will let you know how we get on when we get back
paragluvva, dont worry about noise and young ones, the milord is away from the main part but only a short walk up the street to it. quite a lot of groups of young ones in the hotel but didnt bother anyone, they were just having a good holiday as well, didnt usually see them till late afternoon. you will have a great holiday, wish i was back there now.
Hi shoeshopper. Glad you enjoyed your holiday. Hotel and San An Bay sounds great. We like a good time so young ones enjoying themselves won't bother us hopefully :rofl. Our friends are staying at the El Coto apartments. Don't suppose you know how far they are from the Milord?
Sorry, never noticed. Had a really lazy holiday this year, didnt venture from the hotel much
the el coto apartments are directly opposite the milord right across the bay. you can take the bus to san an and then the bus to stella maris and get off by the aquarium.

your right in what you say about gps hotels.i stayed in pdb algarb in may/june.for many years one bar was always full of algarb guests.this year you could count them on one hand.mine you down to tui pulling out i guess.but the only people in there from the hotel was me and a few more.that had booked d i y.gps tend to go for young ones like you say .so they never venture out to the bars.just the pre club bars.
Hi spottdog. Thanks for your reply re El Coto and Fiesta Milord. Does that mean it's 2 buses to get from the Milord to El Coto
stayed in el coto apartments and milord as well, a water taxi is right outside hotel milord and takes you straight over to san antonio town as you get off boat turn left and head for new walkway by the sea and when it finishes you should be very near el coto apartments they are near tanit a very high hotel which you will notice first
forgot to mention, if you staying in hotel milord you can swap and have meals at hotel tanit which is another fiesta hotel
Hi Busy. Thanx for that. How long, approx, will it take us to get from Milord to El Coto. Would a taxi be quicker?
it would be quicker in a taxi but no sure about cost
so long as you carry hotel booklet id your find.
eat out must be booked 24 hours in advance
don;t forget to collect your points when leaving.get book stamped.i have had a few free weeks over the years i have stayed in fiesta hotels.plus put weight on.
Got back last Friday and I have to say it's the only holiday where I was ready for home after 7 days. San Antonio Bay is so tacky, makes Blackpool look sophisticated!! None of the bars were very busy due, I'm sure, to the the AI disease!!! After saying that, it's hardly surprising that people opt for AI; we were charged 10 euros for 2 vodka and orange juice (cheap vodka to add insult to injury). Went over to San Antonio and it was horrendous. What used to be a nice town with one street full of bars, with tables and chairs outside, has turned into a drug/drink induced town (can't think of words to describe it). There are some nice bars/restaurants on the front though. Really disappointed with my visit to Ibiza, give me Greece anytime.
got to say i went to zante a few years ago.ok it made a change and it was cheap £139.00 b n b.hotel put extra food on for breakfast.but its what you get used to.at least you can say you have tried it.
It's my third visit to Ibiza, first time 20 odd years ago to San Antonio, second time to S'Argamassa. Ibiza is a lovely island but I'm afraid San Antonio and the bay are not for me. Don't think I will ever return to Ibiza.
Another one who will not return to the bay, thought it was very tacky, poor quality food and limited entertainment. As suggested by others the AI/HB and GPS have taken away from people coming out of hotels or just heading to clubs. I just felt everywhere I went they were wanting to take money from me for very little and poor service!
going to ibiza on wed and all the weather forcasts say thunderstorms are the forcasts usually right thanks :
