Hi there, we've just booked to stay at The Lion Hotel at Sunny Beach next May/June. We've never been to Bulgaria before so I'm a bit out of my comfort zone.

I have lots of questions to ask you regulars on here, things like, what kind of weather should we expect? What is the hotel like? We have booked a family room and I've requested a high floor facing the pool but haven't got a clue where the larger rooms are situated so don't know if that's made any sense, any advise on that is most welcome as well as general info about the hotel and rooms. Also how much is a safe? can you hire a fridge and if so how much is it? How much are drinks at the hotel?

I've read that the foods not that great and although we've booked half board to be honest we will probably be eating out most of the time so I'm not too bothered about that.

Where are the best places to eat and drink? How much do things cost? How much do people tip? What are the buses like? What is there to do? Sorry for bombarding you with questions but I want to be prepared and the best way to do this is to ask the regulars as you get straight honest advise.
