Helen I know you were going to try another date- wasn't it available either or didn't you bother?

The date I wanted was the only Saturday included in November Shirley. I did think about booking a Friday, but decided we wouldn't be able to get away from here until 6.30. By the time we got to the hotel it would be 8pm - not worth it, for just one night!

So as it turned out, there were no saturdays included in the offer :duh

Just re read my post & it wasn't clear enough sorry! The 19th & 26th were included Shirley, but it said rooms not available, when you put the dates in. I've still got the original e mail and I've re checked it, and there's no mention of the 5th being excluded

Terms and conditions apply. Subject to availability. A total of 50 rooms for £50 will be available to book online for stays between 1st and 30th November 2011, excluding 1st, 7 - 10th, 12th, 14th, 24th, 28th & 29th. Rate is based on two adults sharing a twin/double room and includes breakfast. Full non-refundable pre-payment will be required at time of booking

We took the Deputy Head there for the day when she retired, and that's when I signed up for any offers. I must say, I'm really disappointed, although a work colleague told me a glass of wine was £9 :really - I wouldn't have minded sticking to lager :D

We have drinks in the room before dinner as drinks are really expensive :really
