Depending where you want to go , a cheaper option is to go by coach
a long journey i know, but thats what we used to do when my children were younger ,
costa brava with ferris, you are guaranteed a free child place's . My youngest was 4 the first time we went , and took lots of things for the children to do so they wouldn't get bored, and made it part of the holiday .
My Good God Llindy, it is a holiday these people want, not torture. After a coach ride through, France and Spain I would admit to anything.
i had 4 children and it was cheaper to go on the coach to spain than to
holiday in either butlins or pontins, or even a caravan in this country, at peak holiday times ....... it was only a suggestion .
i do agree that it is a long journey tho , but better now that you only have to take the euro , when we started going it was the £ and franc's and peseta
