Hubby and I booked ages ago for our Aug 2010 holiday and chose the Kadikale in Turgetreis. Must admit I am now beginning to get a bit twitchy and unsure about Kadikale Resort and think I've made a mistake booking it. It does look nice - but not for us -- if that makes sense I did do my research before we booked but am getting more and more edgy now incase I've made a mistake.

Hubby has been to Turgetreis and loves it, we love the beach and being by the sea. We also wanted somewhere with a good breeze as we have mid August so think that the location of the hotel is ok.

As a couple (no kids) we like hotels to be pretty quiet and don't really want to much entertainment round the pool / beach during the day (the quieter the better). We're not looking for kids club entertainment at night either..... we do a nice cocktail with some background music by the beach I've noticed that the hotel does have 2 adult pools but imagine that in August it will be really busy and we'd have to be up before dawn to reserve a sun bed ---------- really don't want that on holiday. When we booked the hotel the lady in the shop said that it was unlikely to attract families ---- having read some reviews from this year I'm not too sure! We stayed in a packed hotel in Crete before a week on the OV2 this year with lots of loud entertainment etc etc all day and we just wanted to escape somewhere peaceful ! We managed that because we had a week's cruise to look forward to.

I know it sounds like we're grumpy kill joys - we're not really --- just want to make sure that my first holiday in Turkey is a great one for us. Thanks for any help you can offer
