just been told the hotel we were booked into is not where we are staying and been offered Kahramana located in naama bay,can any one tell me anything about this hotel please

cheers for that.good to hear personal experiance,we leave on thursday was told today hotel we were meant to be in was not up to scratch so we were upgraded,Result really as this was a budget deal to start with so any upgrade is a result

still very good to hear youve stayed there and more importantly that you would go back...

Should of been in the Fantazia,have checked their web site and it does look impressive.(but so does some of the larger hotels and have heard some nightmare personal accounts)Was in India same time last year and spent a couple of weeks in luxor back in May, can only be selfish so often.This time i am taking the family with me (five of us) so although i booked early I was on a budget,I put travel before comfort anyway, as I will usually only use the hotel as a base.although it looks like the kahramana looks like it has a lot going on in is in a superb position..
ps I have emailed them and they are going to see what they can do

Sounds like you are thinking of the right fantazia,its at the north end of the bay.
It certainly looks like we will be better off with the move.
will be there from 25 nov til 2 dec if you do get there leave a message at reception have read many of your listings and it would be good to put a face to the name.

Kahramana Hotel

Hi, I am off to the Kahramana Hotel on Thursday and I understand that there is a short walk through town from the hotel to the beach. How much do I need to cover up on that short walk (I am a female Ernie!)? Is a t-shirt and sarong tied as a long skirt enough?

Also, am I right in thinking that beach towels are supplied by the hotel?

Kahramana Hotel, Sharm - Anyone been???

Hi, We are thinking of going to Sharm this spring and from looking at variours holiday sites etc have seen the Kahramana at Naama Bay listed quite a few times. It is usually offered as B&B and states that it is very central for Naama Bay main resort area. As we've yet to sample the delights of Sharm I would much appreciate any comments or advice about the Hotel/resort etc.

i stayed there in nov/dec 2004 . probably the best position ,almost as if naama bay was built around it, 5 mins walk max to the beach,but closer to all the other amenaties,such as the shopping mall,basic but very clean and friendly.superb swimming pool although i am not a pool person myself.
evening dinner a bit limmited and i would advise eating in the shacks or local restauarants,

Hi thinking of going to Sharm El Sheikh and staying at the Kahramana hotel in aug. Going with my fiance and another couple. Wondering if someone had stayed at this hotel and can tell us what its like. Also want to know what Sharm El Sheikh is like and how safe Egypt is after last years bombings.

yes,unfortunately,it is, in a years time!

we have got hawaii & florida,before then,but i like to plan ahead.
it was actually,the location,that swung it for me.it's for my 40th birthday,so it gives me,something to look forward to

Hi going to this hotel for two weeks on the 23rd of jan never been to sharm before .can anyone who has stayed at this hotel tell me if there are any particular rooms that are better than others. any info really appreciated.thanks.

thanks briar i have looked at hotel photos but not sure where would be best. if you can point it out on photo or even better get a room number it would be great.shame your friend is not still in this hotel.thanks for your help.

Anybody been ?
Do you have to access the ebach from the jetty here ?? - obviously no good if youve got 2 small children..

And while on the subject - how is the resort for children, in july, ??

theres already a topic,on this hotel.if you look on page 3,it's half way down.if you read through this,you might find it useful.
have also booked this hotel,for our 1st visit,to egypt.sounds ideal!
