I have been to Marmaris twice and Altinkum once and found Altinkum to be very cheap once you are there (food etc)
Have booked an apartment in Kalkan for this September (20th-27th) and would appreciate some info

I know that the resorts are completely different and that Kalkan is very quiet but thats what we are looking for as Marmaris is too loud and built up

Can anyone tell me if Kalkan is more expensive than Marmaris to eat / drink out?
I drink fruit juice and b/f drinks Efes so I assumed bar prices would be ok
Also, all I have heard from other forums is crap beach and very hilly, the apartment we have rented has a courtesy bus that will take us to harbour area and back. Is the harbour area hilly/steep too?

Are the beaches better than the one in Marmaris which to me is like builders sand and too crowded with the numerous bars sunbeds.

Have also heard about Kas and being able to swim with dolphins, can anyone confirm the availability of this and give me an idea of prices etc?
If anyone has any useful info about Kalkan please post it

Anyones help would be appreciated
