Kenya for the New Year?

Hi Guys, we usually go to Goa for xmas and the new year but after seeing the way it is changing

,we want to try elsewhere.
So my question is

"Do the beach hotels in Kenya put on much of a party at New Year? Fireworks on the beach etc"
Or is it all formal wear and cocktails around the pool?"
We are thinking of staying in the Diani Beach area

yea, some hotels on the Kenyan coastline do throw a new year's bash with fireworks on the stroke of the hour. usually a local band is invited to keep the guests on their feet with a cross of entertainment.
The Diani Beach is lovely and a prime choice.

Thanks for that papa1. I am booking the Diani Sea Resort,it looks to be a nice change from our usual 2star places in Goa.
