kids in sharm

I don't know how friendly they are towards kids in Sharm but we are going, and have booked the Ritz Carlton because they say on their web page that they take especially good care of children. They apparently have a special program, where they communicate to the various departments the name and picture of the child so they won't get lost.

Hi,

My son is 12 now but we have been taking him to Egypt since he was 5. He adores Sharm, the beach is great and of course there are camels and quads in the desert. The Egyptian people are so friendly and adore kids, as for eating there is loads of choice there so you should have no problems. We have been at all times of the year to Sharm and have been twice during May it is very hot but bearable so long as you are sensible. I am sure you will all have a fantastic time.

My little girl was 5 when we visited sharm, and she had a wonderful time snorkelling, playing on the beach etc.. there are many restaurants that cater for children, and the locals love them!

where are you staying? I don't think you'll struggle, kids love pools and the sea don't they and depending on where you are i'm sure they'll be things to do. Have fun!!

I went with my 10 and six year old daughters. They absolutely love the place and I did not have to do anything special. Children get a lot of attention from everyone and my little one, Celina, had several offers of marriage!
There were really lots of activities for children to do in the hotel, aside the normal swimming in the sea and playing with the sand. Also both my children now recognise several species of fish from just looking at the shallow water!

one thing that we bought out there and it cost next to nothing was a little leaflet about identifying the fish. it was the best £1 we spent we all spent hours looking at it. a must for children and adults!

I am thinking of going to sharm el sheikh in may 2006 with my wife and 2 children who are 8 and 4 years old. I was just wondering if there was much to do there for children.

Katie aged 9 now loved Sharm last year, she made a friend at the Hotel and they spent the whole week in the wonderful Sharm Dreams pools or down on the Favrouz (however you spell it) beach watching the fish. She had a fabulous time, maybe I`m lucky because she is 100% happy with a lovely swimming pool. I think you will find you don`t need to entertain them that much they will make friends and have a great time.

I hope this year in Taba and El Gouna are as good.
