me too. Cancelled from Kos ABC going here 28th June from Stansted. Having seen KABC am pleased now. Looking forward to it now.

Blimey this is a quiet forum...........perhaps we can liven it up a bit!! Lets count our blessings that we are not going to a building site now!!!

not many reviews on this hotel posted on HT. try Holidays uncovered site loads of great reviews. Cant wait to go now.

I'm looking forward to the beautiful landscaped gardens, roofs on buildings, water in swimming pools etc....

we go to the kiotari BAY 17TH June for two weeks, is there anybody else there at the same time ?

FC gave us a good deal on this as we had only one week booked at KABC, and had to pay no extra ..

We go on the 28/06 for 2 weeks so I think we will bypass each other at the airport. Needless to say I am now actually looking forward to my holiday after all the events over the past 12 months. The reviews sound very good on this hotel........and its built!!!:lol:

I have been to kiotari bay hotel before and it was good, going back again in july. dont think you have anything to worry about regarding hotel although you will be about 45 mins from rhodes town itself. what happened with the hotel you booked ?

Hi our holiday got cancelled last week to the kos aqua beach club , because it was not yet built, and was on tv holiday hit squad programme the other night..

We was offered this Hotel as an alternative, so booked quickly without looking up on it it, as it seemed this was the last hotel available to accomodate 5.

Not really looking forward to the long transfer time from the airport..

What is car hire like there?

Hi Karen i wouldnt worry too much about transfer time from airport, fc brochure says about 2hrs but it only took 1hr it all depends on where other people are getting off.
There is a car hire desk in hotel but only manned on certain days.
You could always go to kiotari itself 10-15 mins walk max , few car hire places there or other places nearby lardos, pefkos etc.

Does anyone know if the hotel provides beach towels for the pool area, or is it best to take your own?

Hi, we stayed here last year, so any question fire away! They didn't provide pool towels last year. If you have specific requirement I suggest you contact them by email before you go as we found them quite accommodating and they did organise the type of room we wanted. However, we did notice that when others asked for changes once there, they were not quite so helpful! You certainly won't be short of swimming pools. There are several different styles and quality of accommodation and I would think you are in a good position to get what you want as your previous holiday was cancelled. Look carefully at the options available through First Choice and what you are getting for your money. Our transfer time was no more than an hour. We had a great holiday, and I think the 2 main negative points I have seen are:
1. The location being remote. We had looked into this before booking so knew what we were getting.
2. The dining room is too small for the number of guests and can get very busy. Choose your times well! Here are some web pages to look at:

Hi all,

We were cancelled from the KABC as well (and after Holiday Hotspot last Thursday im glad we were).

One of the best things about a holiday is the build up & the roller coaster of 'finished/unfinished' we had with KABC but a dampener on it for us.

We picked this hotel as it ticked a lot of the boxes we were looking for in the KABC.

Managed to upgrade to the select family rooms with verandah at no extra cost which was a result!

Looking forward to this hotel as the majority of reviews ive seen are very positive.

We fly out on the 28th June and tried to upgrade without any luck. Must admit that I am finally starting to look forward to my holiday now. Have just booked a jeep for 3 days to get out and about. So if anyone has any good suggestions.
