Hi folks, can anyone help with this one?
Not for me i have to admit but can you take knitting needles into France (these are wooden needles) ... i've read contradicting information online, but most of that seems to relate to Air France or taking them onto airlines within France
All help appreciated as always
I drive through France on a pretty regular basis and have any number of tools, knives etc in the boot of my car and having them with me has never been a problem.
There is not a problem taking knitting needles in to France via car, they are only banned in France on airplanes, most other countries have relaxed this rule however France still consider them as a potential weapon and are not allowed on any air route in France.
Of course you can! And knitting is becoming a new (!) craft craze here .... click away!
Thanks guys, didn't think it wood, sorry would, be an issue
