Koh Samui and Thomson...

Well I was just browsing The thomson Far East Brochure and for each country it explains the best time of year to visit, while reading up about Thailand I noticed it says Koh Samui is best visited around June - September time, now I was under the impression that Thailand and surrounding countries were best Visited around October - March period, is this correct or is Thomson lying to me ?? If so this would be ideal for me and my g/f as we are restricted to our summer months!!

Thomson are spot on, Ko Samui is great in our summer months, I have visited 4 times in July and August and apart from a few tropical showers it has been lovely and sunny so a great time to visit.

Not cold (low thirties). Actually looking in the back of my Kuoni brochure I might take issue with what Thomson say as the sun and rainfall figures for Samui in our summer are not as good as those for our winter. However if your stuck to our summer for a visit to Thailand then Samui is going to be one of the better bets as sunny resort.
