Hiya,
We are travelling to Krabi in mid-March, and we are taking out 2 kids (4 & 2).
I am inclined to book a hotel up front for 3 / 4 days, then maybe try our luck with a cheaper bungalow/hut, but as this is my first time in Krabi I would appreciate any advice !
1. Can anyone recommend a good quality hotel suitable for kids?....was thingking Ao Nang area, but open to suggestion...
2. What are your thoughts about trying a beach hut / cheaper alternative for a week or so? Is this realistic - anyone done the same?
All views/anecdotes welcome!
Thanks,
Neil
not sure Neil. I would be inclined to not risk it with children. Its probably better to book in advance. As long as you don't have to pay in advance you can then book out after a few days- just check the T&Cs before going ahead with the booking just incase. Have you been to Thailand before?
You could book in a plusher hotel in Ao Nang for a few days and do a little research when you get there. We go in mid-March and theres usually accomodation available...not sure about the Easter period though. I've seen perfectly nice hotels going for £12 - £15 a night so it does not have to be as simple as a beach hut.
