While you wait for some feedback, you may also find some useful info on the hotel's own website ... Thanks for that, had a look at a few more sites, but still can`t find out where it is some say next door and some say between 100-200 mitres from hotel levante.
La Luna is next door. The hotel Moreyo is a at the front of the building and the Luna is overlooking the promenade. Some rooms overlook the side street between them and the Levante. I don't think google earth has got there yet. Will check for you CBG
Thanks for the infor we now know where it is. Was in Cala Bona last year but just could`t remember see la luna, but no where Hotel Moreyo is. Think that was were we saw John so funny. Thanks again
Yes I saw John at the Moreyo and the Cala Bona hotel, well actually saw him 5 times in 2 weeks he was "GREAT". This year we are going to C'an Pastilla, next year back to Cala Bona. CBG
Some friends of mine stayed at the La Luna and they said it was fine. I think the meals are at the Levante Park rather than the Levante.
Can't wait to see John again, he is soooooo funny, you will think he is a brit, he claims to be scottish, but he is spanish, it all comes out in the wash lol
If it is where I think it is you will be pleasantly surprised, this hotel has undergone about 3 years of updating, it has taken so long, because it needed re-buiding from the foundations. It was a German hotel, but as we Brits, only go to Cala Bona, they realised they had to do it to our standards, a really good choice if you ask me. Though I only go to apartments, just around the corner, I have lot of friends in Cala Bona, mostly Brits.
I'm going to have a look and see if I can find any piccies for you
Garry1412 - are you not thinking of the Gran Sol? That's the other side of the Levante on the sea front. STUNNING hotel now it's been re-built, mind it did take some doing.....it was a building site for a few years but looks fantastic now. Just wish I could afford to stay there

Assume I'm okay to post pic, if not let me know and I'll put a link to my image host for OP.
As you can see the La Luna is on the sea front. Most of the rooms have the side street view tho' you will still see the sea due to the closeness of the building to the sea front. There's a small promenade along the sea front at this point which is lined with restaurants.
Garry
It stands out on the side street as the Moreyo is more tired looking despite the new patio doors onto balconies whereas the La Luna is more modern with balconies very similar to those on the Levante/Levante Park .
If you look at the pic above I've put text on to say where the La Luna is......on the same stretch and in what appears to be the same building you can see the exterior change from an orangey cream colour to the white - the white is the Moreyo
Ok tis, thanks for that, I obviously bow down to your superior knowledge, I didn't know you had stayed at the Moreyo, now lookin' at the pic, and they are definitely, two different places. . Anyway going back there in 2 weeks, will check it out myself, thanks tis
Hi Tis, you were right, La luna is definitely part of the Levante, stand outside Pago Pago, looking down that street, they are identical, the balconies are the same, they have the same handrails, they are even painted the same colour. Silly me for even doubting you.
When were you last there? I have just come back, all was not good!!!
Garry
What was up with Cala Bona then? We were last there in 2008 and will be returning in August. Very interested to hear your thoughts and views before we travel
Cala Bona is great for couples or families.Cala Millor, next resort lovely too.
I would recommend it to everyone-great value for money.
..and as for John who sings/performs at the Moreya next door,he literally stopped the traffic every night.almost getting knocked down on a few occasions.
