Update - Kept on ringing Thomson - they were not very helpful and I eventually told them I wanted to know what was happening by last weekend. I got a letter on Friday saying that there was building work going on at the Aqua Luz beside the Sol Logos and that it was due to be finished by the end of June but that it isn't.
They said that construction work on new rooms is still taking place and that heavy machinery is present and on occasions vehicles will be delivering materials to the site. They finished by saying that all facilities were still operational and available.
We booked the Sol Logos at the beginning of Feb as it is quite so didn't sound too promising. Rang Thomson again and asked if there was an alternative in Lagos, they said that all they had was whatever was on their website. I had already checked this and there was nothing from N. Ireland for the 2 weeks we were going so I asked for a full refund. They said it would be in my account in 7 days. I also asked about compensation and she said we were not entitles to any because of building work. She was not pleasant. We are very disappointed.
We are hoping to get something else even if just for a week, trying teletext holidays on the net.
