There are two parts to Lara. One is the big hotels. The other is I supose you wouild call the town area. This has shops and restaurants but not resort type amusement arcades.

The beach is sandy and slopes into the sea, good for children and non swimmers.

The beach " Lara Plaj" is a long stretch of beach with beach cafes are bars spread along the beach.

There is a big variation on facilities and prices between these small restaurants.

Sun beds and umbrellas are available for hire.

Have been to Lara beach a couple of times. There is no resort as such, just a few shopping bazaars with lots of little shops in - jewellers, handbag shops, chemist etc. We have always found the hotels so good you really didn't need to go out of them for anything. The beach is lovely and sandy and very safe foe children.

The Delphin has also got a relax pool with no music or noise!! It's a fantastic hotel and suits everyone!!

What is outside of Lara to go and see? Would love to see as much of Turkey as i can.

Loads to do - Boat trips to Durden waterfalls. Dolmus or coach to Antalya (big city). Coach to Side (an excellent day out - Roman ruins galore.) Alanya by coach. Mangavat waterfalls and market. Loads to do.
